2008_08_30_Ferry To Bainbridge Island--
This first week in Seattle has been great. I couldn't have come at a more perfect time. Not only will the weather stay mostly beautiful for the month of September, (not that I mind the rain, as long as it is not sub zero midwest temperature) but my sister, Alyssa, and her wife Betsy just happened to be coming to this wonderful city as well for a softball tournament. As it worked out they came into town pretty much the same time I did and just left yesterday, perfectly leaving right before I start my photojournalism internship with the Seattle PI tomorrow.
On Saturday after a morning of wandering the market we headed out to Bainbridge Island for a wonderful little stroll and lunch. Here are just a few shots from a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island, a small, well off, Island less than 30 minutes by ferry straight west of Seattle.
Cheers
Listening to: Iron and Wine albums (it was playing at a Koji, a great sushi restaurant on Spring St. downtown and I've been listening to some more of it ever since)
Reading: Nothing, I need to buy a book. Most likely from some used book store around here, which all have at least one cat roaming the stacks. Any suggestions>?
